The Short List!
We are announcing the titles of the stories only as the story is judged anonymously.
The final eight are:

Broken Skin
The Scuffèd Heart
Between the Lines
Fairytale Casting
Corpus Christi
The Tale of Falling through the Hedge
Transformation (as we had several stories using the theme as the title, this story has a character called Mateo)
Thank you to everyone who entered, there were some really great stories. The final eight are now with literary agent Lisa Eveleigh and we plan to announce the results on Christmas Eve Good Luck!

The Competition
Are you a writer, or have you ever thought of writing a story? Our free short story competition is a great opportunity for writers and aspiring writers everywhere.

We are very pleased to announce that this year's judge is literary agent Lisa Eveleigh
We are looking for stories of between 1000 and 2000 words.
The theme of the story is:

Transformation
You are free to interpret the theme in any way you choose.

Second Prize: €30
Third Prize: 'Into the Woods' by John Yorke

The competition is open to everyone, anywhere in the world (including all participants in Mani Lit Fest, with the exception of any organisers directly involved in running the competition).

Please send your entry in English and in either .doc or .docx format.
All entries will be judged anonymously. Please include your full contact details only in the body of the email when you enter.
By entering the competition, you give us the right to publish your story on our website if chosen.
Otherwise, the winner retains all rights to their work
First and Second prize will be given in the form of book tokens if available or paid into a bank account if book tokens are unavailable..
